Our Story
From Dannenberg to Pharmacies Across Germany
DAN-Pharma GmbH was founded in 2008 in Dannenberg by Dr. Sabine Schmitz. With strong roots in pharmacy operations, the company provides expert pharmaceutical consulting services in GMP compliance, regulatory support for manufacturing and wholesale distribution authorisations, and quality management.
To this day, the company remains family-owned and is part of the Dr. Schmitz Pharmacy Group—a second-generation, owner-managed business currently operating three pharmacies in eastern Lower Saxony, Germany.
What began in 1990 with the Seepassage Pharmacy in Dannenberg and a team of three employees has evolved into a modern, forward-looking and growing organisation with approximately 80 employees.
